| Dear Sir, Thank you for contacting us and for your interest in out service. My wife Suellen and I operate a full time hunting and fishing operation. All of our hunts are based on a 7 day time frame. We pick you up in Missoula Sunday morning and return you the following Sunday morning to Missoula. There are 6 days of actual hunting. Monday through Saturday. The half day on each end is left for airport runs. We hunt out of our lodge located on the Clark Fork River. We have over 400 hundred square miles of hunting in my licensed area. Great home cooked meals and a hot shower are waiting after each days hunt. We use 4x4 subs and pickups to get into prime elk and deer habitat . Most of the hunting is done on foot because of the terrain. Please take the time to get yourself in in reasonably good physical condition for the best chance for a successful enjoyable hunt. Packing of your meat and trophy is done with horses. We have a large population of elk in my area, 5x5 and 6x6 bulls being the average taken. We also have a large population of mule deer and some of the states largest whitetail deer. We have excellent population of black bear with color fazes from black to blond. Montana bear hunts are fair chase, no bait or hounds. We hunt bear in the spring in 4x4 subs and pickups. If you are looking for a beautiful trophy rug, spring produces the best hides. We hunt 3 to 6 hunter’s per week, this insures all my hunters are hunting in prime country with the best experienced hunting guides in Montana. Trophies We have an excellent taxidermist that we recommend here, he knows what an elk, mule deer or bear should look like and guarantees his work. Meat Preparation We pack your meat to Superior, Montana to a professional meat cutter. They charge you 50 cents per pound for cutting, wrapping and freezing, and package it to your instruction. They freeze it and box it for airplane or car travel. Average bull elk will bone out between 275 lbs. And 300 lbs.
How to book a hunt When you book a hunt with us arrive in Missoula Saturday before your hunt starts, this insures you and your hunting gear is there when we pick you up on Sunday between 10:30 and 11:00 am. We return you the following Sunday morning to the airport. We guarantee dates for your hunt. A $500.00 deposit is required to book each hunt with us. The deposit is nonrefundable unless special arrangements have been made in advance. Elk and deer combination rifle hunts 1x1 fully guided $4390.00 Elk and deer rifle combination hunts 1x2 fully guided $4290.00 Elk and deer rifle hunts costs includes the outfitter guaranteed license and tags at the time you book. Costs of license and tags is subtracted from the total cost of the hunt. Elk and deer combination bow hunts 1x1 fully guided $4290.00 Elk and deer combination bow hunts 1x2 fully guided $4190.00 Elk and deer combination bow hunts costs include the outfitter guaranteed license and tags at the time you book Costs of license and tags are subtracted fro the total costs of the hunt. 2007 bear hunts Spring hunts in May tags have to be purchased by April 14th Fall hunts in September tags have to be purchased by August 31st Bear license cost $350. 1x1 $1900.00 1x2 $1700.00 each
