Trip Details

All of our hunts whether elk, deer, or other big game, are based on a 7 day time frame. There are 6 days of actual hunting - Monday thru Saturday. The half day on each end are left for airport runs. We hunt out of our lodge located on the Clark Fork river near ST. Regis, Montana. Good home cooked meals and hot relaxing shower awaits you after each day's hunt. I have 40 years hunting and guiding experience, and 25 years bow experience hunting elk, deer, bear and cougar. We have about 400 square miles in my area of which I have the only outfitter license (#5424) doing guiding here. We use 4x4's, and foot travel for our hunts. Most of the elk taken in our hunts are 5x5 and 6x6 satellite and herd bulls. We have good mule deer and whitetail deer hunting. We also have good bear hunting in both the spring and fall. Most of my hunters are return clients. I can provide you with the names and phone numbers of these references if you are interested in a hunt with us.

If you wish to book a hunt, or already have, please arrive in Missoula, Montana on the Saturday before your hunt starts. This gives the airport time to correct any possible baggage problems. We recommend staying at the Ruby’s Reserve Inn in Missoula (1-800-221-2057). We will pick you up between 10:30 & 11:00 am Sunday morning, and return the following Sunday morning.

If you plan on driving in, please arrive around 3:00p.m. M.S.T. on the Sunday of your booked hunt.
